This is the line that started our whole obsession with rap and hip-hop lyrics.
Honestly, this sounds more like something my dad would say. "Remember, no ordering room service. It's too expensive. Plus, I brought snacks."
This blog is about rap and hip-hop lyrics that are absolutely absurd, ludicrous, nonsensical, ridiculous, basic, basically stupid, basically bad, basically basic, or preposterous. We also take some lines and examine them literally. In the words of one of our critics, we are "willfully obtuse". Call it what you want. Hopefully we don't get capped. You have to understand that we really do love rap and all of these artists that we kid about.
(We're not just saying that.)

Ah, anyone can see this site is dripping with love. By the way are you ever going to get some filing cabinets so you can file all these things away - I dont mind helping with marking all the dividers (a different one for each tune right?) :D Keep it up(or dont - I appreciate what you did so far anyways)

Say what you want about being willfully obtuse; you certainly are when it comes to joking about the more literal interpretations of certain lyrics, but overall you are pointing out the many seriously fucking stupid aspects of rap and hiphip culture, and that is refreshing.

you guys read my mind with this site.. i love hip hop and analyze all the lyrics i hear to a tee.. and i always hear so many suspect lines.. i always said i wanted to separate all the suspect lines from songs and translate them. so i was pretty shocked when i came across this site. great work

Site would be much much much less irritating if you used a hosted presentation application which the reader could then page-thru all your posts from #1 to #most-recent. Like we would page thru a photo album. Look into it. Google offers one which I believe you can incorporate into your website, and if lucky, they might even throw in some advertisements on each page which fuck you, pay me.

Why pick out one lyric over another? Just post all of the lyrics to all of the songs. All of the lyrics border on semi-retardation. What can you expect? Hip hop/rap is jumping over the idiomatic (musical) fence at its lowest point.
