"Like, 'Mirror mirror on the wall, tell me who's iller.' How you like that? I use to say it just like that. Maybe I should copyright that -- I'll be right back."
- Canibus, Canibus Man

Hey Canibus, you don't need to go copyright this because it's not that clever and nobody is going to use/steal this. You certainly don't need to go leaving the song in the middle of recording it.

  1. he gets points for consistency - it takes balls to spit three consecutive lines ending in 'that'.

  2. Why is anyone even listening to canibus? he's worse than ja rule... maybe a little better than chino... but still, do you belive people actually had beefs with him? I mean like... damn! why? what's his purpose in life? to be a counter-example?

  3. his use of superlatives is also questionable, but that's the least of what's troubling me here.

  4. On whole, I find Canibus' rhymes far more intelligent than anything I've come across in current hip hop with the exception of perhaps Saul Williams. I mean seriously....who else can spit out factorials (7!)?

That said, if Canibus had a little better grasp of copyright laws, then he wouldn't have to leave the room to copyright it since it's protected the moment he's written it down or otherwise fixed it to a tangible medium (e.g., audio recording)

  5. Not to mention, I think he really means that he should trademark it

  6. No other city even comes a nearby second to this great city. A living landmark, where the past meets the present, with a respect that lone Rome knows. Here fashionista's in sharp dressed garments, road entertainers, wizened clerics and the thunder of Vesper bicycles play out onto a scenery of old marvel. check cashing
