I keep envisioning this as a slogan at the end of a Toyota ad which makes it alot funnier.

I think back then Toyota was using Sly & the Family Stone's "Everyday People" as a jingle. The conclusion is that namedropping short-term ad campaigns in your lyrics is a good way to confuse people of the future.
